About Lori Schmon

Lori Schmon is an award-winning commercial and documentary director. Merging authenticity with narrative craft, Lori uses her documentary roots to shape emotionally layered films grounded in vivid, expressive imagery. She has directed films for Vevo, MTV, J&J Snack Foods, Bose, University of Arizona & many more. Lori began honing her dynamic and vibrant visual language while traveling the country as a one-woman band, directing and shooting for MTV’s MADE. 

Lori next directed her first short documentary, chronicling the Jordanian women’s soccer team’s push for World Cup qualification. Whether she’s telling stories for global brands, artists, or athletes, Lori aims to craft visually striking films that genuinely move people.
